Does Anyone Have a Direct Line to God?

I have heard Catholics tell me that the pope has a direct line to God. I don't really know if that's true, but if he does, or anyone else does, I would like to ask them to do me a favor.

I would like them to ask God a few questions, these questions aren't going to be difficult, and we could even make them in yes or no formats, but these answers need to be asked and only God can provide us with the answers.

The first question that I would like to ask God, would be about starvation, why are there so many starving people all over the world? Are we or are we not supposed to be fruitful and multiply? Is overpopulation creating more problems in the world today, than it might have 2000 years ago?

These questions above, could be a little difficult to answer, but they shouldn't be too difficult for someone like God. I believe that God can handle a few tough questions and if the Pope or anyone else has direct communication with God, I would like to suggest something to them, quit wasting your time on frivolous things and start asking God the serious questions, that every one is really interested in.

It doesn't make a lot of sense, to pray and worship to somebody who realistically won't answer or deliver the things that we are requiring. I realize that most religious people are told, that God only answers some prayers or that God isn't ready to answer your prayers yet.

Anyway, if gods not going to answer all of our prayers, couldn't he at least answer some of our questions.

Jesus' Missing Years in the Bible

It looks like there is a big problem in the Gospels. There are more years in Jesus' life that are missing than years of his life that were ever recorded. Why weren't these years listed in the Bible?

All the Gospels talked about the death of Jesus, the birth of Jesus and a few years in between, but all of the Gospels are missing some very important years from his life. When raising a child, some of the most important years of their lives, will be those when they were teenagers and often those of their young adulthood.

The Gospels talk about Jesus at the temple at around the age of 12 or 13. After that, there is very little known until he reaches the final years of his life. Was there someone or a group of people or even a community who influenced his life? Could Jesus have learned something from a spiritual master Guru that changed the world forever?

There is more speculation on Jesus' missing years than you could ever imagine. Some say that Jesus went to Egypt to study with their masters or priests. Egypt obviously wasn't that far from where Jesus was raised, but like most of the stuff in the Bible, there is very little evidence to support any of these speculative stories.

Could Jesus have went to India and studied with the Buddhist masters or even a Hindu scholars? Did Jesus study with advanced Jewish scholars? This is only a little bit of the historical speculation, but if the truth was ever to be known, it could help Christianity solve a lot of problems.

Most Christians rarely even question these missing years. There are quite a few Christians that don't even know that there are any missing years in Jesus' life. I wrote this article to get people thinking and hopefully to start educating themselves about early Christianity. Good luck and God bless.

How Long Does God Really Want Me to Try?

The Holy Spirit has been working through me for many years and I really want to know how long, God really want me to try? How long does he want me to try to get Christians to think and understand Christianity? I'm doing the best that I can and as long as God is working through me, I will try to do better.

God put me here for a reason and my reason is to teach other Christians about Christianity. As long as the Holy Spirit will keep me alive, I will continue to do the best that I can and teach other Christians, how to study the Bible and where their religion actually came from.

If you're reading this article, your probably interested in Christianity and the Bible, if you do read the Bible, do you actually understand what it's saying. If you study the Bible, are you exposing yourself to others who also study the Bible, or are you only studying the Bible with people you know and are familiar with.

How long are you going to try, before you actually quit? Have you quit before and started again and maybe you've done this a few times, but you haven't quite yet. I know where you're coming from, I've been there myself and continue to motor ahead.

I would like to give you a word of advice, don't ever quit and don't ever give up. Keep searching and you will find the answers, keep knocking and doors will be opened. I have been knocking and will continue to keep knocking.

I wish you nothing but the best of luck on your journey towards the ultimate answers that we're all hoping to find.

Personal Development Products

I was thinking of making a list of the top 10 books have helped me in the past with my personal development and I have had some requests from different people asking what books are great reads. I will also include a short description of why I found it useful and also make some audio tape suggestions.

Ok so the first of the personal development products I found amazing was Napoleon Hill's Classic, Think and Grow Rich. This book is an amazing foundation to anyone who wishes to embark on the route of personal development and mental development. The second book is The magic of thinking BIG - By Dr. David Schwartz. This is one of the best books over all to teach you everything you need to know about being a big thinker. It teaches leadership, motivation, communication and overall success. A MUST BUY.

Another Excellent book in the personal development and mental development area is the prosperity books by Randy Gage. The 5 books are as follows:

  • Accept your abundance
  • Prosperity Mind
  • 101 Keys to Prosperity
  • 37 Secrets to Prosperity
  • 7 Spiritual laws of prosperity

These all taught me how to be prosperous which is great because we all want to be.

The next book I learned a lot from was How to Win Friends and Influence people by Dale Carnegie. This book really teaches you how to communicate and become a leader. A very very good book to utilize because it will help you with everything you need to know about people.

The greatest salesman in the world - By Og Mandino. This book will make you committed and teach you all you MUST know about you to make you an overall success in your personal development, and mental development.

A great ebook that I will recommend that is very recent is a book called The funded Proposal - By Daegan Smith and James Grandstaff, this is an ebook that teaches people how to get a quick return on their money and how to do it properly.

Audio books I will always recommend is anything by Jim Rohn, Johnny Wimbrey, Les Brown and Zig Ziglar, these four teachers will guide you through your emotional, motivational and personal development because they have mastered each subject. You see from them I gained a higher understanding of not just myself but everyone around me. If it could help me it also help you. I hope this helps you.

My names Adil Amarsi and I help people become financially, mentally, emotionally and finally independent. For the books mentioned above follow me on twitter and sign up to http://www.dcateaches.com and get some of them.

The Beginning of Religions

It seems like everywhere we look in the world, we are always focused on something in the middle. Often we are spending most of our time thinking about the end and never thinking about how it all began. In the holy Bible, it states in the beginning but doesn't talk about the beginning of the beginning. Where did God come from, that is the actual beginning.

I don't know how many stories I've read in the Bible about other people's triumphs and defeats, but keep in mind that some of these stories cannot be proven, factually. Some people believe in Krishna, others Jesus, Buddha, God, and the vast and numerous creators of the world and the entire universe. I don't know which one or if all of them are the true God's and by that I would refer to God as the creator of the universe.

It seems to be extremely difficult to prove scientifically and without any doubt, that the earth was created by a creator, according to popular religious text and would be very difficult to prove with in the leading religions of the world.

Let's get back to the question of where did God come from? There obviously had to be someone before the creation of the universe, if you choose to believe in a creator. Is God a man, woman or some sort of spiritual entity, like a ghost or maybe some smoke that can form into anything at any time and if so, did his secrets come from another creator or superior being. Was God involved in self-help and learned all these secrets on his own, through trial and error.

I often wonder, how long the creator of the universe was alive before our creation and what other worlds has this all mighty and powerful being built before or after ours. Do we have sister universes and if so, will we ever be able to see them or visit them, during our lifetimes.

Most people dismiss the creation of the creator, but wouldn't this be one of the most important parts of any religion? There's obviously something to think about here and I wish that most people practicing religions, which involve a deity or superior being, could take a little more interest in finding out where their God actually came from.

Oh yeah, one more thing. If you do find the answers, I would love to hear from you and by the way, you would be solving one of the universes most perplexing and complicated secrets. You could be a gazillionaire and make the cover of Time magazine, something to think about.

Miracles in Life

Today, as I walked out of ICU, I met up with a lovely young woman and her young son. He was articulating his un-appreciation for hospitals. Hearing his comments and feeling badly for him, I took a good look at this very handsome little boy. He appeared to me to clearly have just been visiting someone he cared about. I continued to listen to their conversation as we entered the elevator. His hospital visit seemed to have left him a little rattled.

As the conversation when on, his mother asked him, "Who really likes being in a hospital?" At that point, I had to jump in and responded with, "No one really, sometimes, even those that work here." "But with illness, someone needs to help these people get better." "Mostly, really wonderful things have happened here."

The thought of hospitals often conjure up perceptions of sickness and death, which was my suspicion of his feelings.

His mother looked at me and said with a big smile, "Like what?" I told them that most people leave hospitals much healthier than when they came in and some even totally cured. She looked at her son, then at me and said, "Sometimes even miracles." My hair stood up on my arms and I responded with, "Yes, even miracles!"

As the elevator door opened, we stepped out and she then stopped. She looked me in the eye and said, "Just like me!" "I am a cancer survivor, and cancer free!" As she said that, I could feel her great sense of victory, happiness and love of life. I wanted to hug her, but we were strangers. I hugged her in my mind with all the love and happiness I had inside me as I know that intention also goes a very long way.

Cancer, no matter how good the prognosis, often feels like the end. With its awful images and aggressive natures, she was a walking miracle of good health and hope. Her son was smiling and I could not help but do the same. She said to me, "God bless you!" as I suddenly felt as though I had not done enough to share in this momentary celebration of her life. I wished her God's Blessings in return and we went out separate ways.

I was left with a great sense of happiness and a renewed sense of gratefulness.

Miracles come in many forms. Some we are lucky enough to witness, and some we live through.

My own personal miracles have come at some of the most important moments of my life. We all have those moments. We do however need to be open to them to be able to see them, as all miracles are not earth moving. Some are subtle and yet have the capacity to change our lives forever.

Somewhere between modern medicine and holistic therapies, I have witnessed great things. Our intentions, prayers and faith also play important roles in miracles. They don't always come in large dramatic packages but they do help.

With an open mind, body, and spirit, one becomes sensitive to all the greatness that this life has to offer - little miracles and large.

Grocery Store Success Tips

I cook nearly all of our meals at home. This has allowed us to save quite a bit of money on our food bill. To do all this cooking at home, though, requires careful planning which begins with making a menu for the coming week. I've found that taking just a few minutes to make a thorough plan can make the whole process much easier and less stressful.

First, I take a quick survey of what we already have. If there are leftovers in the refrigerator, those are scheduled to be used first. Then, I go through the pantry and freezer and see what meals I can make with what I already have. My menu plan will be partially completed based on this first step.

Next, I browse the weekly sale ad for my local grocery stores. I look for the sale items, especially any buy one, get one free sales on any types of meats. I can now finish up the main parts of the menu. I fill in the remainder of the menu with side dishes for each of the main meals. When scanning the sale ads I also look for produce sales and any staples that I might want to stock up on.

Now that my menu for the week is completed. I put together a detailed shopping list by store. I staple any coupons that I have to the appropriate list so I will have them ready at the checkout.

When shopping day actually arrives, my shopping list is already compiled. I try to get in and out of the store in the quickest possible time. I also make sure to watch the register as the grocery items are scanned to be certain that the sale price is correct and that the coupons are deducted correctly.

Some other shopping tips I've used to help ensure success at the grocery store including always shopping on a full stomach and leaving the kids at home with Dad!
